Confidentiality
Your habits are yours. Always.
Our Commitment
AwareFlow is built on a simple principle: what you notice about yourself should stay with you.
We designed the app so your habits, reflections, and patterns remain on your device unless you choose otherwise.
No hidden sharing. No background data collection. No surprises.
What Happens to Audio
AwareFlow listens for short sound patterns like sniffing or throat clearing.
But it does not record or store audio.
-
Processed in real time
Audio is analyzed instantly on your device using Apple’s machine learning frameworks.
-
Immediately discarded
The sound is not saved, stored, or replayable in any form.
-
No uploads
No audio is ever sent to servers, cloud storage, or third parties.
In simple terms: your phone hears it, understands it, and forgets it.
What Is Stored
To help you build awareness, AwareFlow keeps a small amount of information on your device.
-
Habit moments
For example: “a sniff was noticed at 2:14 PM.”
-
Patterns and summaries
Used to show trends over time, like “more active than usual.”
-
Your reflections
Notes, feelings, and journal entries you choose to add.
This information stays on your device unless you explicitly share or export it.
What We Do Not Do
- No selling or sharing of personal data
- No advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking
- No audio recording or storage
- No hidden analytics about your behavior
If something isn’t necessary for awareness, we don’t collect it.
Optional Sharing
Some features may offer optional, consent-based sharing.
For example, contributing anonymized pattern data for research.
-
Always opt-in
Nothing is shared unless you actively choose it.
-
No audio included
Only anonymized pattern data is ever eligible for sharing.
-
Clear and reversible
You can change your decision at any time.
Your Control
You remain in control of your data at all times.
- Pause awareness whenever you want
- Clear your history at any time
- Delete the app to remove all data
- Manage permissions in iOS Settings
Designed for Trust
iOS is built around privacy-first principles. AwareFlow follows that same model.
We only access what we need, when you allow it, and for a clear purpose.
Awareness should feel safe. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t work.
