What We Don't Collect
The app listens for sounds and then discards what it heard. Nothing is recorded. Nothing leaves your phone.

- No advertising or tracking data
Audio is analyzed in real time and immediately discarded.
What Stays on Your Device
A small amount of information is stored locally on your iPhone® or iPad® to make the app useful.

On-device calibration state
Sensitivity preferences and calibration baseline that help your phone recognize patterns in your environment. No raw audio is ever saved.

Habit events
Simple markers such as "a sniff occurred at a specific time."

Feelings and context
Signals you add during or after a session, such as how you were feeling or what you were doing when a habit occurred.
This information remains on your device unless you explicitly choose to share it.
How Data Is Used
The information the app stores is used for one thing: showing you your own patterns.
- Provide real-time habit awareness

- Display your history and reflections
It is not used for advertising, profiling, or tracking.
Sharing
Your data is not sold, shared, or transmitted. No audio ever leaves your device under any circumstance.
Permissions
AwareFlow requests permissions only when required.

Used to notice sound patterns. Audio is not recorded or stored.

Notifications
Used to deliver private, gentle nudges.

Face ID® (optional)
Only if you choose to enable App Lock. The app asks Face ID whether the owner is present; it never receives or stores biometric data.
You can change permissions at any time in iOS® Settings.
Retention
Data exists only on your device. Habit events and reflections remain until you delete them. Audio is never stored. Deleting the app removes all associated data.
Your Control
You remain in control of your information at all times.
- Pause or stop awareness
- Delete all stored data
- Adjust permissions in iOS Settings
- Delete the app to remove all data
Third-Party Services
AwareFlow uses Apple® WeatherKit to fetch local weather conditions for pattern correlation. This is handled by Apple under their own privacy policy. No other external services are used.
Children's Privacy
AwareFlow is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date at the top.
