Platform Security

AwareFlow is built on Apple’s security model.

• App sandboxing

  The app operates in a restricted environment, isolated from other apps.

• System-managed encryption

  Data stored on your device is protected by Apple’s hardware and operating system.

• Secure system APIs

  We use Apple frameworks for audio, storage, and permissions.

This allows us to rely on tested, platform-level protections instead of building custom security systems.

Data Minimization

We collect only what is necessary for awareness.

• No accounts or login required
• No advertising or tracking SDKs
• No hidden analytics about behavior

Reducing data reduces exposure.

Network Security

When network communication is used, it follows Apple’s secure transport requirements.

• Encrypted connections

  All communication uses secure protocols such as HTTPS with TLS.

• Limited usage

  Core awareness features do not require network access.

User Control

You remain in control of your data and permissions.

• Microphone access can be enabled or disabled in iOS Settings
• You can pause awareness at any time
• You can delete your data by clearing history or removing the app

System-level permissions ensure nothing is accessed without your consent.

Ongoing Security

Security is not a one-time feature.

We continuously review the app as Apple evolves its platform and as new risks emerge.

Updates are designed to maintain both protection and simplicity.
