How It Works
Under the hood, AwareFlow runs a simple pipeline:
on-device listening → personal calibration → context & emotion →
gentle insights over time.
1. On-Device Listening
AwareFlow uses short, rolling snippets of sound from your microphone
to watch for patterns like sniffing, throat-clearing, sighing, or
tapping. This happens entirely on your device — raw audio never
leaves your phone and is discarded right after analysis.
2. Personalized Calibration (SniffLab)
During setup, SniffLab guides you through a brief calibration
session. It learns what your own habits sound like and what your
everyday background noise feels like. The result is a personal
“tuning profile” that sharpens detection just for you.
3. Context & Emotion Awareness
When a habit is detected, AwareFlow quietly notes simple context:
time of day, indoor/outdoor state, ambient noise, and optional
emotional check-ins you choose to provide. This turns a single
moment into a small story about what was happening around you.
4. Gentle Insights & Patterns
Over time, these moments add up. AwareFlow shows you calm, high-level
patterns: when certain habits tend to show up, which situations they
cluster around, and how they move with stress, focus, or
environment. No judgment — just awareness you can act on.
