Confidentiality

Our promise: your habits stay yours.

Our Commitment

Trust is foundational. AwareFlow™ is designed so that the sounds and signals related to your habits remain on your device. You stay in control of what’s captured, stored, or shared.

We minimize data, avoid identifiers wherever possible, and provide clear opt-in consent for any sensitive features.

Private by Design

For technical details and Apple Privacy Manifest categories, see our Privacy Policy.

Consent & Control

Every sensitive permission is optional, clearly explained, and can be changed at any time.

You can change or revoke any permission in Settings → AwareFlow.

What “Confidentiality” Means Here

In clinical settings, confidentiality describes a formal legal and ethical duty. AwareFlow™ is a self-care and awareness tool, not a medical or therapeutic service. Even so, we adopt confidentiality principles by:

If you export or share content using Messages, Mail, or other apps, that data becomes governed by those services.

Not Therapy or Medical Advice

AwareFlow™ is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical or mental-health condition. If you are in crisis or considering self-harm, contact emergency services or your local hotline immediately.

Limited Disclosures

We will only disclose information:

We cannot and do not disclose audio content because we never collect or store it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to safeguard local data. On-device processing and optional Face ID App Lock greatly reduce risk by design.

Changes

If these commitments change, we will update this page and revise in-app disclosures.
